Dr. Nasir is a seasoned Agri-professional with 25 years of contribution to development of crop & livestock (with an emphasis on dairy) industry in Pakistan. He has provided his services as a Lead Consultant and Sector Specialist to mega firms active in agriculture sector, including Nestle Pakistan Engro, Haleeb, Tetrapak and De-laval. He has also provided his services to the international development sector, including Plan International, Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund, Benazir Income Support Program and Premier Cattle Company (Project of UK Donors).

Through his career, Dr. Nasir has been directly involved in various pioneering activities in the dairy sector of the country, including the establishment of milk procurement systems in Punjab and Sindh provinces, the initiation of ice-free milk collection in Pakistan, the establishment of Pakistan’s first-ever private sector dairy training institute (Solve Agri Pak), and the design of the widely-replicated and award-winning ‘Community Dairy Development’  (DAIRY HUBS) training program for DeLaval Pakistan. He has also worked in dairy development in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and China
